HAK/HAS Innsbruck Charity Fun Run at Baggersee

Hundreds of pupils and numerous teachers from HAK/HAS Innsbruck took part in a charity event at Innsbruck’s Baggersee in early July.

The aim of the event was to raise funds for MOYO and, at the same time, to highlight the importance of education for girls in Africa. Together, pupils and teachers completed thousands of laps around the Baggersee. Thanks to the support of sponsors, a substantial sum was raised.

As well as the sporting achievements, the spirit of community was at the forefront. Many participants cheered each other on, creating a motivating atmosphere along the route.

After the run, several outstanding sporting achievements were recognised with vouchers. The organisers were delighted with the high turnout and the substantial amount raised. The charity run demonstrated once again just how much can be achieved through collective commitment. Through their efforts, the pupils and teachers made an important contribution to supporting disadvantaged girls in Africa.
