MOYO cooked at the Patsch Advent market

On 9 December, it was that time again – the Patsch Advent market opened its doors from 12:00 – 18:00. Visitors were able to admire and purchase handmade carvings, natural cosmetics, decorative items and lovingly crafted knitwear and textiles from local producers at a variety of festively decorated market stalls. The brass players of the Patsch music band provided a festive musical backdrop.

Culinary delights were also provided: in addition to classic Advent specialities such as mulled wine, punch, kiachl and doughnuts, there was an “African feeling” in the middle of winter in Patsch thanks to the MOYO stand. A spicy pumpkin, coconut and sweet potato soup helped to warm the hearts of visitors to the MOYO stand despite the cold temperatures. Original African handicrafts were also presented and sold. These tablecloths, including placemats, handbags and rucksacks in African designs were specially made by supported pupils as a thank-you gift for the MOYO association and were very popular with visitors to the Advent market.

Many thanks to all visitors, helpers and donors.

Special thanks to our sponsor, the Province of Tyrol.

Asante Sana!
