MOYO cooked at the Patscher Advent market
On December 10th, after a 2-year break due to corona, the time had finally come again – the Patscher Advent market opened its doors from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. At a large number of Christmas market stalls, visitors could admire and purchase handmade carvings, natural cosmetics, decorative objects, as well as lovingly made knitwear and textiles from local producers.
Culinary well-being was also taken care of: in addition to the classic advent specialties such as mulled wine, punch, kiachl and donuts, there was an “Africa feeling” in Patsch for the first time in the middle of winter thanks to the MOYO stand.
With the help of a spicy pumpkin-coconut-sweet potato soup, the hearts of visitors to the MOYO stand warmed up despite the cold temperatures and snowfall. Original African handicrafts were also presented and sold. These tablecloths along with placemats, handbags and backbags in an african design were specially made by supported students as a thank you for the MOYO association and were very well received by the advent market visitors.
Many thanks to all visitors, helpers and donors.
Special thanks go to our sponsor, the province of Tyrol.
Asante Sana!
